LIFTED UP!

December  24, 2012 ~
John 12:32 “If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto Me.”

It was on this day that I was moved to make this Scripture a reality.  As I pondered on how to lift up The Lord Jesus to more people, I realized that the computer is the message center of the world today - for good and bad!  Why not use it?  Thus, this blog was created. 

It is my means to be a daily witness unto the Lord, lifting Him up so that others may be drawn to Him.  It is also a means to make disciples of Jesus, teaching them all God’s Word that I have learned, as He has commissioned us to do.  Finally, it is a means to lift up and strengthen The Body of Christ.   

There needs to be more light to shine in the darkness.  I pray that this small ray will pierce the darkness and show someone the way to Jesus and Eternal Life with Him.

  Psalm 3:1-4  

 O Lord, how many are my foes!
 Many are rising against me;
 many are saying of me,
    there is no help for him in God.  Selah (Pause and think about it.)

 But thou, O Lord, art a shield about me,
    my glory, and the lifter of my head.
 I cry aloud to the Lord,
    and he answers me from his holy hill.  Selah

If we call out to the Lord, He promises He will always answer.  When our enemies rise against us; when I have been weak, we have one who is ready to shield us and lift our head up.  He is ready to forgive and cleanse and wrap us in His Presence.  Why would He do this?  Because He loves us and wants us to know He has freed us from the bondage of sin and paid our sin debt on the cross.  If we believe that and repent (turn away from our sin), He gives us His Spirit to live in us to help us not to sin and to live a victorious life as a Child of God.  

I lift Him up to you....let Him be the lifter of your head and your heart!
