ALONE…AND WITH GOD!

Thank You, Lord, that I have been alone;

but never lonely!  You are always with me!

It is not wrong to depend on Elijah as long as God gives him to you, 
but remember the time will come when he will have to go.

…Put into practice what you learned with your Elijah, use his cloak (symbol of faith) and pray.  Determine to trust in God, and do not look for Elijah any more.

Lord, how special and meaningful this Scripture has been to me.  
I have come to know You and to trust You and do great things in Your Name and Power. 

Now, I think the best is on its way! 

I have experienced these 3 stages(Jordan, Jericho, Bethel) in:

Husbands:  Bob, Joe, Ronnie

ABOUT MY FATHER'S BUSINESS

MY FATHER'S BUSINESS ~ GOD'S ENTERPRISES!

        
Do I look upon life as being in my Father’s house?

Is the Son of God living in His Father’s house in me?

*The abiding Reality is God within me!

Are you so identified with the Lord’s life that you are simply a Child of God, continually talking with Him and realizing that all things come from His Hands?

The vicarious life of your Lord is to become your vital simple life; the way He worked and lived among men must be the way He lives in you!

Lord, this is my goal to always be in contact with the Reality ~ You in me!

…to be in conversation, all the time;

to know You are my constant companion

…to be about my Father’s business.

Help me, Lord!

“At that day, you shall ask in My Name…”

John 16:26

“At that day”  - the day that He becomes LORD!

The day that JESUS becomes my intimate Companion…

my Soul Mate!

“in My Name” – it is NOT a Password!

It is a personal Love Relationship!  It is NOT a casual acquaintance!

It is personal identity; one of honor; an endearing close association; entrusted authority; 
one who trusts you to use their name!

Example:  “I am asking in the name of my FRIEND.” 

“I am asking in the name of my SISTER.” 

“I am asking in the name of my MOTHER/FATHER.” 

“I am asking in the name of my HUSBAND/WIFE.”

“I’m asking in the name of my TEACHER/PROFESSOR.”

“I’m asking in the name of my BOSS/SUPERVISOR.”

A PERSONAL LOVE RELATIONSHIP

Creator God must be FATHER!

Redeemer Jesus Christ must be LORD!

Indwelling Holy Spirit must be LIFE!

    

…And, there is no other!

THEY UNDERSTOOD NONE OF THESE THINGS!

“And all things that are written by the prophets

concerning the Son of Man shall be accomplished…

and they understood none of these things.”

Luke 18:31, 34

“they understood none of these things”…

until they were fulfilled; and He came to them and

opened their minds…

 and after He went back to the Father,

The Father sent them the Holy Spirit to be within each one reminding of Jesus Words

and teaching all things about HIM!

Remember the two men on the road to Emmaus?  Jesus had just risen from the grave and as two of His disciples were walking He joined them in their conversation... And then, “beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself.” (Luke 24:27)

While they were telling the other disciples, Jesus came into the room and said:

“These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses and in the prophets, and in the Psalms, concerning Me.  Then He opened their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures.” (Luke 24:44)

John tells us in Chapter 14 of his letter about the promise of the Holy Spirit and what He will do.  In verses 16-18 Jesus says:

“And I will pray the Father, and HE will give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever; even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees Him not, neither knows Him; but you know Him; for He dwells with you, and shall be in you.  I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you.” 

In verse 26, he says:  “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

JESUS' REPUTATION!

 Jesus has entrusted us with His Reputation

“Then He took unto Him the twelve”

Luke 18:31

“Your life is hid with Christ in God.”

Colossians 3:3

“We have received…the spirit which is of God;

that we might know the things

that are freely given to us of God.”

1 Corinthians 1:12

“You are a letter of Christ…written not with ink

but with the Spirit of the living God,

not on tablets of stone but on tablets of the human heart.”

2 Corinthians 3:3

He, Jesus, chose to entrust His reputation in the weakness of man that He might be revealed and His purpose fulfilled.

He, Jesus, shed His blood to redeem the world from Sin;

He chose us to tell them!  He gave us His Spirit to empower us!

“I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”

Philippians 4:13

SANCTIFICATION

Sanctification has to two sides:  Death & Life

SANCTIFICATION

DEATH to self-consciousness

It is like being in a cocoon mysteriously dying to the sinful selfish life and being made new. 

Lord, I accept Your will to be brought into sanctification knowing there must be death to my self-consciousness before the process of transformation can take place.  It is the cocoon stage of being made NEW.  Dark.  Alone.  Quiet.  Mysterious. Unconscious ~ like being in a coma!  

SANCTIFICATION

NEW LIFE ~ Resurrection with Christ

It is becoming the butterfly mysteriously totally changed into the beauty of the Risen Jesus ~ transformed.

 Lord, I want to be all that You have created me to be to glorify You.  Make me aware of Your life in me as I am ready to soar…to come forth in Your Image with the power to be holy – 
to be a Royal Child with Your blood and Spirit.
